We Also Offer You Continuing Care . . .
When Dr. Hart made the professional move from Racine, Wisconsin to Shorewood more than 5 years ago, he assumed the practice of Dr. Walter Farrell, who passed away suddenly in the spring of 1996. Like Dr. Hart, Dr. Farrell was a prosthodontist. Dr. Farrell's dental practice was, however not limited to prosthodontics; rather, it was a hybrid between a prosthodontic specialty practice and a general dental practice. In order to maintain the continuity of care, and in order to offer our patients a choice regarding continuing care, we have chosen to maintain our practice in the prosthodontics / adult restorative format.
This means that, in addition to Implant Prosthodontics, Crowns and Bridges, Cosmetic Dentistry, and TMD treatment, we offer care under the following guidelines:
Additional Care that We DO offer our patients:
Continuing prophylaxis (periodic teeth cleaning) by Diane or Nancy, our dental hygienists. They are available for your recall appointments 5 days a week.
Restorative Dentistry. We do provide regular fillings, crowns, and bridgework. Since Dr. Hart is a prosthodontist (a specialist in crowns and bridges), we are in a unique position to offer you a very high level of quality with these services.
Care that We Do Not Offer (but for which we work closely with our colleagues' offices):
Root Canal Therapy
Periodontal Therapy (beyond routine prophylaxis)
Oral Surgery (although Dr. Hart frequently assists in implant surgery in order to assure that your implants are positioned in the most ideal positions).
Children's Dentistry
We have extremely good relationships with specialists in the Milwaukee area who offer highly skilled care in each of these fields. When you need precedures from one of these specialists, your care is always handled on a "team" basis with our colleagues' offices. You are never simply "referred out". If you do need any of these services, we always assist you directly in arranging your appointments with these doctors.
Thank you for taking the time to review this information. If you have any questions about the care we offer, please do not hesitate to email or call us.
