Comfort
|
|
"Comfort" and "Dental Office" are two phrases that do not always go together. At our office, comfort, your comfort, is of extreme importance. It is our goal to not only take direct measures to eliminate the possibility of discomfort, but to also help you to feel relaxed and at home with us and our office. Here are some of the things we do to assure your comfort while visiting us . . .
|
| Availability: | One of Dr. Hart's most guiding principles involves his feeling of a deep responsibility to always be available to you. When you become a patient of our office, you are always given full information (home phone, cellular phone, and voicemail / internet pager) about how to contact him at any time of any day. |
| Knowledge: | If you have any question whatsoever about your treatment or possibilities, we will explain it to you in whatever depth of detail that you feel comfortable with. By using direct TV cameras, digital X-Rays, copious illustrations, and even this website, will will do our best to explain every aspect of your treatment to you. Of course, if you say "Dr. Hart, I don't want to know about it, just get it done", we can do that, too. |
| Anesthesia: | For those procedures that require anesthesia, we offer both short acting and long lasting local anesthetic (numbness). In many situations, we use either an anesthetic patch, or a micro-injection to pre-numb your main injection site, so you feel virtually nothing. We also offer nitrous oxide ("laughing gas"). Finally, by teaming up with Dr. Christopher Meyers (oral surgeon in the adjoining suite), we can offer deeper forms of sedation for longer procedures. |
| Entertainment: | We realize
and appreciate that any form of distraction can enhance the comfort of
your visit with us, so we offer the following for your enjoyment:
|
| Pillows: | We offer a variety of neck and head pillows to fine tune your postural comfort in our treatment chair. |

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions about our comfort policies, please feel free to give us a call. |
