Prosthodontics is the dental specialty
that involves the replacement and reconstruction of teeth. In
addition to implants and cosmetic dentistry, this includes high
quality dentures and partials, including "precision attachment
partials", where the clasps (clips) are totally hidden.
Dr. Hart received his Post Doctorate Certification in Prosthodontics from Loyola University School of Dentistry in
Chicago, Illinois, and is a recognized Prosthodontic specialist in the state of
Wisconsin. He teaches Prosthodontics at Marquette University
School of Dentistry as an Adjunct Clinical Professor.
Dentures:

We provide our patients with
dentures that are made utilizing the new, European injection molded
technique called "Ivocap". The advantages of this technique are:
- Far less distortion occurs when the denture is processed from wax
to acrylic.
- There is never any left-over chemical residue with the process, as
can happen in conventional dentures. These residues can cause
chronic tissue irritation.
- Higher strength.

Partials:
|
We offer both conventional
partial dentures, as well as "hidden clasp" partials:
- For the pink acrylic portions of your partial, we use the Ivocap
process, mentioned above.
- We are highly experienced at creating "hidden clasp", or
precision, partials. They are really cool, because when you look
in the mirror, you often cannot see where your teeth end and the
partial begins!
- If you choose to have regular clasps, we usually use softer,
yellow gold clasps, which are gentler on your teeth, and are more
adjustable without risk of breakage.
