implant experience

Dr. Hart has practiced implant dentistry since 1984, the year that the Branemark System was introduced in North America, and currently restores approximately 180 implants each year, for a career total of more than 2,000 implants. 

Dr. Hart has achieved several "firsts" in Wisconsin implant dentistry:

• 1992:     First ceramic abutment.

 

• 2003:     First "Nobel Perfect" implant restored (an implant designed to preserve the ideal gum tissue between the implant and adjacent teeth)

 

• 2005:     First (or second) "Nobel Guided Surgery" Stent.  We are currently working with Nobel Biocare to provide the new "Teeth in a Day" service, using a CAT-Scan based CNC computer milled surgical guide.  This will be the first case in the Milwaukee, and maybe the first in Wisconsin.  Another case is being developed in Green Bay.  This is the future of of implant dentistry, and, soon, we will be adding a section to our website to explain this new technique.
